Guide
Connect your AI client
hyad is a remote MCP server. Any AI client that can add one with OAuth sign-in can deploy to hyad. The address is the same for every client:
https://mcp.hyad.app/mcpBefore you start
Create a hyad account and confirm your email address.
Wait until an admin enables deploying for your account. New accounts can deploy once an admin enables it; until then, the consent screen refuses to connect a client.
Claude on the web and in Claude Desktop
Open Customize, then Connectors. In some versions of Claude this is under Settings, Connectors.
Choose Add custom connector.
Name it
hyadand enter the server URL:https://mcp.hyad.app/mcpLeave the OAuth client ID and secret under advanced settings empty: Claude registers itself with hyad.
Choose Add, then Connect. hyad opens in your browser: sign in, then choose Allow on the consent screen.
In a chat, turn hyad on under +, Connectors if it is off.
Claude Code
Add the server in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http hyad https://mcp.hyad.app/mcpStart Claude Code and run
/mcp. Choosehyadand authenticate: hyad opens in your browser to sign in and allow access.
Other MCP clients
Add a remote MCP server with the URL above, over HTTP (streamable HTTP). There is no API key.
Sign-in is OAuth. The client finds hyad's sign-in from the server itself and registers on its own; most clients need no client ID or secret.
Your browser opens hyad: sign in with your hyad account, then the consent screen asks you to allow the client.
The consent screen
It names the client that asks and the hyad account it would use. A client that registered itself is marked "name not verified": allow it only if you just started connecting it.
| Scope | The screen says | What it means |
|---|---|---|
deploy | Deploy and manage your hyad apps, as you | Create apps, deploy versions, roll back, stop and start, change visibility, request env vars: everything your assistant does on hyad, with your rights and no more. |
offline_access | Stay connected without asking you again | The client keeps working in later sessions without a new sign-in. Disconnect it to end this. |
openid | Know who you are | Your account id. |
profile | See your name | The name on your account. |
email | See your email address | The email address you sign in with. |
To disconnect a client, open Connections in your account. Its access ends there.
